Gay & Lesbian?

No. One or the other. Pick a side!

I love the miata on the cover of the brochure. What are they trying to imply?

I guess that's still a step up from being on the cover of the "Hairdresser Visitor's Guide."

lesbians are gay... so its basically saying Your Gay & Gay Visitor's Guide

well... LGBT has them as separate so it might be "politically correct." Also stereotypical Miata owner lol

The answer is always Miata

In thirty years this could be the equivalent of what an African American Visitor's Guide would mean today.

We're all people, we don't need separate brochures.

That would have the V6 Mustang on it, obviously.

Same here. It's probably some Jalops looking where to go in Australia though.

I prefer to be gay or lesbian, depending on my mood. Or how much I've had to drink.

You mean the one that comes with a map where all the wealthy neighborhoods are replaced with lakes?

I hate all this nonsense. Stop screwing with language. When used without context, Gay is synonymous with Homosexual. Gay/Homosexual is a classification, Lesbian is a subclassification based on gender under homosexual. What we need to do is correct usage so that A) homosexual and gay are not interchangeable, using gay to denote male homosexuals or B) destroy the word gay altogether and make a new one.

Side note, why the hell would you have a homosexual specific visitors guide? That's discrimination akin to having a woman's guide or black people's guide. What exactly are they saying and who are they saying it about?

Yeah. I am actually interested to know what tourist attractions in Tasmania they steer gay people towards and how those differ from the attractions that they recommend for straight people? I mean, aside from maybe highlighting a few gay bars (which they could just as easily do in a regular tourist guide as well), what on earth would they recommend differently?

False. My gayness for Hardibro is purely voluntary.

...my gayness for Torchinsky, on the other hand...

Oh I'm sure they would come up with something just as offensive as the brochure.

Like lubricant factories, Subaru dealerships, and The Rainbow Dolphin Swim Experience.
